St Johns BFF Luncheon | September 2025
The St. Johns BFF’s monthly luncheon brought an exciting twist this month with a lively Board Games theme. Guests embraced the spirit of fun by dressing as their favorite "Guess Who" characters, adding a playful and colorful vibe to the event. Throughout the luncheon, attendees enjoyed ice breaker dice games, conversation, and laughter, creating a warm, engaging community atmosphere. To give back during the gathering, board game donations were collected to benefit the children at Isaiah 117 House, making the event not only fun but deeply meaningful.
Isaiah 117 House is a dedicated nonprofit organization providing for children that have been removed from their homes out of concern for their safety. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and in dirty clothing. Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where these children can be brought to wait for foster care placement – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement.
In addition to the charitable aspect, guests had the chance to explore the "Sip & Shop" experience featuring SJBFF’s Preferred Vendors. This special shopping opportunity offered a curated selection of unique products reflecting the modern vintage, rustic, and boho-chic style that the St. Johns BFF community prides itself on. With delicious refreshments in hand, attendees mingled effortlessly while discovering handcrafted goods and elegant offerings perfect for upcoming weddings and events. This blend of philanthropy, fun, and boutique shopping made the luncheon a memorable occasion for all who attended.
